Crank Pully
« on: Jun 07, 2008, 08:42:38 AM »
Ok so i just got my 22re back today from the engin shop.  after them having it for 4 weeks or more. and they left out my crank pully. and they said they dont have it laying around there shop or anything. so i went to the junkyard and pulled a pully of a 20r. it mounts on my crankshaft and everything. But i think when i put the belts on it they MIGHT sit slanted a little bit, and not straight up and down. Do you guys know if this will work? (a 20r crank pully on a 22re?)  :beerchug:

The 20r and 22r motors use the exact same crank. I'm currently using the crank in my shortdeck 85 22r from a 79 20r  motor. I'm using a crank pully from a 20r on my shortdeck 22r, with no issues. I put it on with the power steering almost 6 yrs ago.  :dunno:
