91 Pickup Crawler
« on: Apr 09, 2008, 05:44:01 PM »
this is my daily driver. 22re 91 toyota reg cab pick up crawler. located in sacramento.
HERE IS WHAT I HAVE DONE TO IT:
- I just installed a low mile motor (60,000 miles)
-all the ifs stuff was cut off and frame was ground clean.
- solid axle swaped with a 1985 built axle (armerd, trussed, geard and locked) .
- front axle has been ground and cleaned up, spaced to match the rear, fully rebuilt...even has backing plate eliminaters and low profile plugs.
- rear has diff armer (from all pro offroad) with low profile plugs. also been ground and cleaned up. (geared and locked)
- marlin crawler U-bolt flip kit.
- running on 35 mtr's
- 5.29 gears (yukon) and locked (aussie locked) both axles. set up by daves offroad in placerville
- trail gear high steer along with gear box moved on frame. rancho 5000 steering stablizer.
- braided brake lines.
- long spline front drive line, this thing has 12" of slip! both drivelines were set up by AA driveline in Rancho Cordova.
- rancho 9000 shocks. fronts attatched with F250 shock towers. rear is triangleaded.
- rancho 44044 springs up front, and chevy 63" springs in the rear.
- dual tranfercases (trail gear adapter) with custom high clearenced cross member made using front range offroads t-case bracket. (pretty much flat belled)
- twin sticks on the rear transfercase from front range off road
- new KEVLAR clutch and throw out bearing made by Zoom, its way nice.
- bucket seats out of a rav4.
- it has nice speakers and a nice deck.... sounds good.
- marlin crawler front bumper with stinger... has room for a winch.
- new cat, and 2" exhaust after cat with new muffler. had to make a few changes to the exhaust to make the crossmember work.
- a/c, just have to put a belt on the compressor to make it work.
- runs great, shifts fine, no wierd noises... and the speedo is accually pretty accurate. the body has 273,000 miles on it. the motor has about 60,000.
- all the preventive maintenance has always been done. runs great!
- smogged in november, so i know it'll pass no problem in the future.
- body is some what straight, but needs a paint job. all the brackets, bushing, and things like shock tabs i bought from dan at Ruffstuff Specialties.
i'm sure i'm missing something, its a great truck, i've wheeled it only a little bit after i built it. it wheels awesome! i was going to bob the bed and exo it but i need to sell. my phone number is 916 605 9065 and my name is WILL, or send me a message. asking $5200
heres some older pics i had on my computer.
