ya were all trying to load up on 1 trailer so diesel goes from being $400 a peice to like a $100 bucks. renting a trailer would defeat the purpose cause it would probably be $80+ a day or something. we were hoping to kick somebody some money so we could borrow one for 4 days.

I think that you will need to find a goose neck trailer for that?

I am not sure what the rental fee would be, but you could reserve a U-haul truck and trailer for Sunday following the jambo in one of the towns near JV, and drive your truck there.  If you have a catastrophic break you have a way of getting it home, if you don't just call and cancel the truck and trailer/tow dolly.  You will save yourself some money of you don't need to trailer it home.

Also what all are you planning on breaking in JV that you wouldn't break on Fordyce or the Rubicon, other than the opportunity for more body damage.  We have been there a couple of times and haven't broken anything that would have prevented us from driving a rig home.  Absent a tranny going out or engine failure, you should already have spares of everything you need to keep you moving.
