i had rust in my tank and it started to clog the injectors and the pump in the tank, if the filter doesnt help pull the top half of ur intake and fuel rail and check the screens in the injectors, if that is the case pull all of the injectos being carefull not to destory the o rings and clean them with carbuator cleaner  and u might have to drop the tank pull the fuel pump clean it and fish tank rock with about 2 gallons for gas and rust remover and shake it for a good hour violenty till the rust is gone

Changed the fuel filter found a bad connection on exhaust temp switch on egr fixed it but can't drive it blew a power steering line 2 weeks ago in the snow but ran great that day driving me crazy snd hurting the bank account.

Finaly my check engine light came on. Got a couple codes and it was i thought but haven't changed igniter or egr think the egr was the main problem but going to change both out hope it fixes my issue.

fuel filter wasnt it? My buddies truck was doin the same thing as mine only it cut out all together at 3000. He changed the fuel filter and it runs like a top. I still havnt gottn around to changing my filter yet. Hey maybe ill do that today!

Changed fuel filter. didnt fix it. Guess ill move on down the list.

Changed out the mass air meter today.. didnt fix it either. now im down to o2 sensor or ECU. I found like 20 ECU's for the 92-95 but none for a 90.

try an igniter i paid 35 bucks seemed to have worked still think i have an egr problem too.
