Topic: Help me price my rig...

Im thinking of selling my rig and getting a classic FJ40...  Im trying come up with a fair price, to decide if its worth it to sell it. This post is NOT a classified- cuz I aint selling it now.

I probably wont sell it until next summer- if I even do- Im kind of attached to it...  Please no 'you can sell it to me for $1000'....

85 4Runner
220K- runs like new
Full 22RE Rebuild at 190K- professionally installed have 3.5K receipt (yah I know...  too much- previous owner)
New head, springs, valves 2K ago- professionally installed have $1K receipt
New radiator
5.29s Front /Rear
Aussie Locker in Rear
63" Chevies rear 4" Wranglers in front. 
Rancho shocks (45'd in rear)
37" MTRs with 15x10 inchworm style beadlocks
4.7 Marlin Geared Case
Highsteer
Custom Front / Rear tube bumbers
8K winch on front (Costco Brand)
Roof rack with 6 lights
Clean interior
Herculined Rear Compartment
Hardtop / Half top / AND Downey Soft Top

awesome 85 man.
like $5500 when you sell it.
being it has a rebuilt and lots have been replaced, and im assuming the interior is in good shape as well.

Thanks for the compliment.  I was thinking in that range would be good.  Im not in a hurry, so I would probably ask more and just wait.  There arent that many this clean around.  All I would really add is some longfields and it would be bulletproof for 95% of drivers out there.

I built this thing up since it was bone stock...  so Im kind of attached:

that thing is damn clean and from what i take, very well taken care of and built well.
i get attached too.
i am more attached the vehicle i have now, being it has been in the family for 3 years now.
i have taken care of it and done everything to it, my sister cant.
so now that im buying it, im really attached.
more so then the vehicle i had last.

but if you're in no hurry..
i'd keep it.
that year 4runner in that shape, is hard to come by anymore.

Oh, I forgot to mention....   it has 5.29s front/rear with an Aussie Locker in the rear.  I will edit up top.  I cant believe I forgot that...

4500-6000 depending on interior and little stuff,

Of course it all depends on where you live at too. Prices can just about +/- 1k from state to state, But just for a ball park figure I'd say 7-8k is a good starting point to negotiate from.

Good luck selling it, if you can get yourself to let go of it. I know I couldn't.

Im in NorCal, so these things are pretty popular and clean ones are hard to find.  It would be really tough to sell it though...  thanks for the posts
