Trying to make a W56 2WD trans into a 4WD. Pretty new to any kind of mods so bear with me. Is it possible to make that 2WD trans into a 4WD?? Can anyone tell me what the name of the part is that i have to swap. Is it the shifter housing?? Is this swap even possible?? Please someone help me out!!

You're actually trying to convert a w55 into a w56

You need the 4by tranny tailhousing and shaft. As for the particulars of the swap I'm no help, but I'm sure if you do a search both here and on pirate you'll find something.
