1st gen 4runner glove box lock

Does anyone know of a locking glove box mechanism for 84-89 4runner?

I don't believe it was a factory option if that is what you are asking? I haven't seen any aftermarket options either. I have looked too.

so after searching for an hour, I ran across a YT thread, company is called carlocks.com. part# is g-30, 107/108. 1 is blue, other is brown. if you go to site, near the bottom is a contact us link, my dial up wont let the link go thru. maybe somebody can try, I'm interested in the blue lock, let me know if you make contact please

I used to have one! was hard to find. the locks was pretty weak, basically had the strength of a stock latch, but it was a lock
