Need help with 2.7
« on: Sep 13, 2007, 08:59:02 AM »
Need help with my Tacoma; I installed the K&N Fuel Injection Performance Kits , MSD 8.5mm Super Conductor Spark Plug Wire Sets, NGK Iridium IX Spark Plugs ,Pacesetter Headers, Also, I removed the catalytic converter and installed 2.5 tube, with a flow master.
It’s a 97 Tacoma 2.7 4x4 s/c 5 speed which I use only for the mud races. The problem is that now it accelerates a little slow. Any help or suggestions on what I need to fix.

My guess would be that you took all the back pressure away, and when you do that you generally lose low end torque

Do you recommend going to 2'' or 2 1/4, and can it be that it affect the sensors, the flow of more air.
