Radiator HELP!!!
« on: Jul 25, 2007, 07:11:53 PM »
I have a 92 with a 22RE.  The bottom tube that the lower radiator hose connects to just came off.  It just came completely loose from the radiator.  It isn't corroded out or anything, it just came off.  Is there any way to fix this?  This is my daily driver, so I need to figure something out ASAP!!!  Help!

jb weld that thing......

or have it repaired by a radiator shop with real welding.....

as an emergency fix, i would jb weld it... and let it sit for a day or whatever it requires for curing... hsould work fine....

or new radiator time

that should go wothout saying... id rough it up with sandpaper or a wire wheel off the truck, and then use some alcohol to get the gunk off... remember as with pait, the surface prep is key with jb weld

If the tanks and tube are copper/brass  I'd solder it on with a propane torch.......

I've fixed leaking header tanks that way.
