22re longblock core
« on: Jul 16, 2007, 10:38:45 AM »
Just removed this from my 85 4runner. Don't know if it was the original engine, don't know how many miles were on it. It did run when removed, but it smoked and wouldn't pass CA smog. When I tore it down there was a big buildup of crud in the intake manifold runners. Possibly bad valve seals? Good for a core or rebuild the head and take your chances.

I need to keep all the accesories for smog reasons so it is just the block and head assembled with all internals, a valve cover and a 2wd oil pan that I threw on there so it didn't make a mess.

Currently in Riverside, SoCal
$100 OBO
