Setting up new carb
« on: Sep 19, 2007, 10:56:00 PM »
Just had my Aisin carb professionaly rebuilt by import carburators. It was fully redone with new everything and was tested on a flow jet and im putting it back on tomarrow. What all do i need to do besides adjust idle and double check timing (just put a new timing set in at the same time).  From what i understand you can only adjust idle mixture because the other mixture is factory plugged. Any help would be great this is my first carburated and first yota build but im not new to wreching.

this might help.... i dont remember what the screw is in the green circle....

also the mixture screw should be about 3.5 turns out from closed i think.... dont remember what i run mine at, usually takes some fine tuning... and that is only if someone drilled out the plug... that hole isnt usually accessible
