Did he make it out of HREW or DOM.  It pretty good, but why would he put bends in the center supports.  I would think that could be a potential weak point, but I could be wrong.   I like how it ties into the seats.

I agree.  I am currently making my bumpers and sliders out of HREW.  I can't justify the cost of DOM either.


The supports being bent for head room makes sense.

That is some pretty nice looking tube work. It seems like more and more people are starting with a halo, it seems to be a good way to start the cage, looks nice.
1985 toy, Hybrid 20r/22r on propane, 30splines, custom built leaf packs, welded front and rear diffs, dual ultimate crawler, full hydro, full exo, flat bed, 37' mtrs

thanks. I talked him into that, he wanted to start out with the legs, wich might not have been so bad, but this worked for us.
