rubber gasket under t-case shifter?
« on: May 28, 2007, 12:54:28 PM »
I bought a rebuilt Tcase and chain drive case adapter a few months ago.  Included in the bag of parts was a rubber washer, about the diameter of a quarter.  Is this supposed to go under the shifter?  If not, where?  I also noticed on my chain drive case a bunch of of ground up rubber particles in the same area which kinda leads me to believe this is where the washer is supposed to go.  I checked my factory manual and the online instructions here and no dice.

BTW, is is just me, or does the constant animation of the smileys in the "start new topic" window cause your PC to   c  r  a  w  l  when trying to type?

yeah, that is the stock seat, IIRC.  Goes just under the ball of the shifter.
