Simple question, but I'm curious. How have some of you mounted your winch's remote solenoid? I just bought a Warn XD9000. I purchased one without the integrated solenoid for easy repair/replacement since the solenoids are the most common problem with winches. I know some people have mounted them under the hood. I was thinking of securing mine to the grill with heavy zip ties and upside down so the wires come out the bottom of the box and directly to the winch motor. Has anybody discovered a simple, accessible alternative that works really well?
