need help priceing parts
« on: Feb 28, 2007, 07:55:48 PM »
I'm thinking of parting out my '86 turbo truck and would like to know how much to price the parts. I have the complete 22r turbo engine, I didn't get it started but it turns over, I was told it need a timing cover, chain and tensioner. Auto tranny and transfercase, V6 rear, and any IFS parts. Parts are located in Northwest Arkansas, if that has anything to do with the price.

Just give that junk to me!  A local fella had a turbo ext cab 2wd auto that was wrecked, but with a strong motor. He was asking $1000 for the rig and I thought that was high for AR but I'm a cheap :pokinit:.

Hope this helps....  Rember your stuff is only worth what you are willing to take for it.

Check the other boards, there are some turbo's out there.  Problem is that yours does not run so you'll have to ask lees or take less than if it ran.  It could be a 20 minute fix or a total rebuild you don't know till you tear it apart.

As for how much it is worth, it is only worth as much as someone ELSE is willing to pay for it, since you are the one selling it.
