Pray for Jessica
« on: Jan 25, 2007, 07:09:22 AM »
Hi all and God Bless
Here is a post from our web site 4x4Him.com
We have a young lady Jessica who just was married a couple weeks ago and is now fighting for Her young life and is in need of Prayer. Here is the link.

Guy

http://4x4him.com/forum/index.php?topic=1347.0

Some time this morning Jessica was slipping in and out consciousness, she was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Fresno. Some time this afternoon she was air lifted from Fresno to a hospital in San Francisco. As far as I know they don't know what the problem is.

Please take a moment to say some words for the Mahaffy's

Update

Update on Jessica,.....DaveM called me a few minutes ago and informed me of more details.....Jessica is in RedWood City at a very specialized hospital with some of the best care...........She is Consous, but not out of the woods yet.  She has a Blood Clot near her brain, they have induced blood thinner to help reduce the clot, but the chance of an embolism is possible.

She will still need all of our prayers and pray for Dave and Cheryl as well.  Volunteers have offered to watch the remaining Mahaffy kids back in Coarsegold, but we may need to put together our own support group if this duration is longer than we hope.  I will try to keep you posted of any needs.

Her family thanks you all for the Paryers.

Guy

UP DATE from her dad, We're in a Hotel that has internet, Jess has  a very rare condition and I couldn't tell you what it is, it,s something about ten words long and never heard of any of them. It's not a blod clot, the veins in her head that return to the heart are ALL clogging, causing preassure on her Brain, She is in extreme pain and has double vision, the prognoses is good so farr, too early to tell , but it appears the blood thinning meds. are working. won't know for a few days to know for sure.
If all goes well we MIGHT be home in a week, and it will take her a month to recover.
All our kids and pets are handled, the Journey Vineyard is paying our Hotel bill so all we need is YOUR PRAYERS.
I THANK GOD every day for our brothers and sisters, don't know where we would be with out you!

I will post when there are any changes.

Thank you and God Bless
Dave and Cheryl
