im sure this topic has been brought up before, but everytime i do a search for something i never get the results i need. im going to be doing a 22r to 22re conversion in my 1985 toy and will be changing out some of the wiring harness. i was wondering if there is any helpful information with this.

Well what would you like to know, I have done this on my 86 and can probably answer your questions.

i would swap the entire harness over

You can't rely on the automatic search function, but I'm pretty sure the manual search function works pretty well, you just hafta invest the proper time/effort into it
