Topic: Not sure where to start

Ok i have started my frame swap project.  I have the new frame and have begun cleaning it up for undercoating.  I have the bed ready to come off.  I have a few questions as to where  I go next. What all do i have to disconnect to get the cab to come away from the frame?  Another question, when I turn the bolts on the bottom of the cab mounts, the bolt that is going up into the cab turns.  I tried to get to the top but cant.  Are they mounted into the cab or is there a bolt head that I have to get on from the floor of inside the cab.  I am looking forward to tackling the SAS swap on the frame as I am putting 85 gear onto a 86 frame.  Any advice would be great.  Thanks

Lift up the carpet and look for the plastic plugs. The bolt heads are under those.

Unplug any and everything that comes out of the cab at the other end and you'll be fine

ya dont forget the steering shaft and all the wireing that goes too the motor coolent lines etc. good luck.
