I hate to say this believe me I do but you are getting in over your head pretty fast.  I know I love just throwing myself into a rig and doing everything at once too but sometimes ya gotta take it slow ya know.  If ya search on pirates there is a couple of really good threads on the ins & outs of benders.  Good Luck

ya the hydrolic benders are ok from then but the hand pump ones will work for a while till u use it alot or on big tube and the seal goes out in the jack then it costs out the butt for a new seal.
ur best bet if u want a good bender and plan on makeing alot of cages is buy a electic over hydrolic bender,Hausfeld is a good bender company thats what i have in my shop and it works ausome it was pretty pricey thow there cheapest is like 400 too 500 bucks but its well worth it if u want good bends and reliable.
Im fixing too start on my cage in about a week ill post some pics of what it looks like after its done.
But i agree with white its not easy too build a cage well a good cage u can just bend some metal and weld it together and hope it holds but ur better off too get with someone who knows more about it.

If you didn't make it, and it ain't broke, you didn't try hard enough.

I agreewith white trash. take it slow. as for benders they go from $300 (manual) to 10, 20, 30 thousand. plus tubing is pricy as for size no smaller than 1.5" w/ .120 wall thickness

another thing is how good with fab work and geometry are you. forseeing things working or not working is the main key in fabication.any questions about cages feel free to ask me.
