You have a wasted front input bearing :moon:
And because it is the front bearing, 4th gear is popping out. (When you shift into 4th, the input is moving forward and jumps out of gear). Quit driving this trans before you break the input gear teeth!
When the bearing goes away, it sends harden metal debri thurout the transmission. It is time for a rebuild and I have a upgraded maximun bearing application for your trans.

85-91' W56

Bearing, gasket, seal kit  $192.73 Total
With syncrows  $218.83 Total
Add Heavy Duty mainshaft bearings (2)  $50.00 additional.

Of course, I rebuild and blueprint W56's all the time. Prices are on my web page.
