Built Toyota...$2000 THIS WEEK ONLY.
« on: Sep 12, 2006, 10:42:40 PM »
Bought a house and wont allow more than 3 cars. Forces to sell my toy. Please read before making comments, serious buyers please.

1989 Toyota extra cab. bobbed, shorten wheelbase to 115"
3.0 V6 has high miles but still runs flawless, no smoke. Motor was well maintained by previous owner. stock tranny (5spd.) with chain driven t-case.

Running gear is a stock front dana 60 with dodge external outers, both broken hubs. cheap and real easy to replace. gears are 4:56 with welded spider gears. Rear axle is a stock ford dana 70 with stock 35 spline axle shafts, welded spiders and 4:56 gears. Rebpacked all bearings and replaced them when i torn both diffs down for cleaning

Suspension up front is toyota rears with a few added leafs, total of 6 leafs. rear leafs combine of cherokee main leafs with chevy 1/2 tons. Buggied leaf with anti-wrap bar. bar is bent because i went cheap. it works and i made a stronger cross member to locate the anti-wrap bar mounting brackets.

SOLD THE TIRES

Little info on it i double bobbed the bed and re-located the gas tank to the bed and routed the EFI lines. has 4 rock lights under it that are wired up to a switch. No windsheild from previous owner accedent. Bed is toast, its bent pretty bad. Bosy is in good shape and has small dents here and there. Needs one front brakeline, im still trying to find that. rear brakes needs to be setup and fixed. theres no lines to the rear and no backing plate. 1 ton master cylinder thats just running the front brakes, have an adapter plugging the rear outlet because i couldnt find fittings for rear brakes. runs and drives, except for brakes, Negotable on the price but set on $3500 after material, diffs and tires. More questions please ask.

I havent ran the 42s yet but with 40s and 4:56s gears it was decent, still crawled slow but still had the power to hammer through rocks. Located in Lake Stevens, WA.

i have a set of rollers i can sell the truck with those on for $2500. Let me know.

Do you still have your truck? I am in search of another truck at the moment. Is this truck street legal? if not what would it take to make street legal?
I LOVE MY YOTAS!!
