hey my buddie just bought an 85 toy but to my horror  :sheerterror:IFS  :scared: hey wants to wheel with me and cant afford a sas or lift :beerchug: :beerchug: for ifs so im lookin for a key to lift the front for him ive already got shackles for his rear. so any1 got one or something to lift the front up for him. because i am the proud owner of an 84 i dont have ifs so i dont know it is there other ways to lift it. other than body or key. for cheap

85's are solid front axle, not IFS.

Yea you just crank em in just make sure you crank them in the same amount or it will sit all weird, also with the t-bar crank he will bust cv shafts anytime he wheels it hard if he overcranks them, my buddy used to go through a set every weekend, if i remmeber right you can get about a inch or two safely and anything more then that it puts to much of an angel on the cv's
my biggest regret is getting rid of my 86

k cool free thats best. and it is a 85 production date oct 85. i always thought they were solid but aparently u could get either. he didnt know and i told him the same thing 85 solid now worries but aparently not.
