FOR SALE: TLT Roller
« on: Jun 01, 2006, 07:54:17 PM »
i have for sale one TLT- Rockbuster. This is a brand new item I bought in a kit and built. The axles have been locked with JB Weld.  This truck has never been run and is brand new. I need to sell it cuz I need cash for my real truck. The body and decals are new and unfinished as well.  Great for a basher or rock crawler project (even better :disturbed: ) I will include a stock brand new Clodbuster 540 can and pinion as well. http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/item.php?product-id=47201 I will leave this on here for 1 week and then it goes on fleabay. I paid $100 plus shipping. I'm asking $75 plus shipping. My loss, your gain. This is a roller only, not RTR

Ok I don't know much about RC's, is this a complete kit in other words it just needs to be assembled?

A roller just means chassis, axles and wheels/tires. RTR means Ready To Run (including motor, electronics and possibly contoller and/or receiver pack) Buy it please! This is my SAS money!

He's wanting a gas engine but I figured for the price I might get yours. I think he wants something that goes fast too. It's what all his friends have and he is 12.

gas are cool but not for beginners. I think they're too much time/maintenance and money for all the crap u have to have to keep them running. To be honest with u, electrics can be just as fast and fun. My buddy has a Stampede (which is great for a beginner and cheap) with a brushless motor that blows away the gas guys (:psss: they don't have the instant torque afforded by the electric motor) If u want a bigger one go with the e-maxx or t-maxx (gas)  :twocents:
