4.3l help

i am thinkin about putting a diff motor in my truck and gettin rid of my 4.3 unless i can figure out a way to get better gas milage then 8 or 10 it is killing me any suggestions on what to do? I'm to the point if blowing up  :hammerhead: all i have done to it is intake headers and eldabrock 4bbl carb

an edelbrock 4 barrel carburator is probably putting you at your worst possible fuel mileage.  efi that sucka
