just bought a new diesel tow rig so the old suburban needs to find a new home:
1993 chevy suburban silverado 2500 2wd 454tbi, 4L80E, 14 bolt fully loaded with tow package. power doors, seats, mirrors, windows, ac blows cold,........
this rig has been very reliable over the last year and a half. i've driven it to Tx and back without a hitch and have put 30 k of it's 130 k miles on it. gets 17mpg on the freeway, 10-12 when towing my cruiser on a flat bed trailer.
the suburban is in great shape, paint is good, no major dents, no big scratches, no rust. interrior is clean, non smoker, no holes, cuts, rips, tears,....except for one bad area in the rear cargo area where the carpet got damaged. has a runner cargo liner in it so the bad carpet does'nt show.
i installed a new stereo and aftermarket speakers in the stock locations. i also replaced the battery, water pump, radiator and heater core since i've had it. besides that, i did all the regular maintenance and svc work like engine oil, trans fluid and filter, rearend svc, rad flush,......
i did also replace the brake calipers and the brake master cylinder. it does need a new hydro boost unit (everything else has been replaced by me or the previous owner) cause the brakes do bind a little but not all the time and they do release fully afetr a short time. the hydro unit is $190 and pretty easy to replace. i just don't have time to mess with it.
current reg, insurance and clean CA title. passed smog earlier this year.
located in stockton CA. $3000 firm or might be interested in partial trade for a land cruiser project, shope equipment, tools, pallet racks,.......
i can post more pics if needed.
