Topic: Help.... what axle do i have????

Hey i see on Aussies page its only says for 30spline axles? dont i have the 27 sp.  I have an 84 yota 4cyl.  Thanks guys

  all toyota axles are 30 spline inner and outers. the only part that is 27 spline is where the axle goes into the birfield. this is what has been upgraded by bobby long to 30 spline.
this is for a toyota solid front axle. toy rears are also 30 spline where they go into the third.

really?? i c, now what is the deal with the 6cyl drop outs? whats better?

V-6 rear thirds are the same (will bolt right into a 4cyl housing). they have slightly larger bearings and a little bigger pinion gear and the carrier is a different design and the third its self is beefier with more ribs on it than the 4 cyl. you can even fit 4 cyl gears in the v-6 third with a ring gear spacer and with the right combo of bearings you can fit v-6 gears into a 4 cyl housing.
