where is everyone going memorial day weekend i heard that the con might be closed do to erosion control... :turtle:

The Rubicon is never closed. Impassable, sensitive times, but never closed.

I am guessing Mem day will be very wet, so yes it is a real good idea to not go to the Rubicon when it is wet.

It could however, warm up mid April and be nice so the snow melts before then. Stranger things have happened.

memorial day is the first time guys take their trucks out to actually wheel.So you never no what your gonna see.As far as the con goes i was at loon lake two weeks ago and there was about a 7 foot pack and who knows now with all this weather. but im gonna recommend staying off the trail till july we dont want to give the greenies anything else to complain about or more reasons for closure.
