87 runner in sac with sas parts for sale
« on: Mar 14, 2006, 10:47:18 PM »
Hey guys I have a 87 4-runner that has like a 130k miles on it. Motor smoked great last year but blew an oil pump and fried the berrings (did not spin them). Just replaced the oil pump, main and rod berrings and before it was smogged had all the fluids changed, full tuneup, valves adjusted and was running smooth. Changed out the hoses because the lower radiator hose was bloated and leaking. It may have a blow head gasket because when the hose went out it got hot for about a min before i shut her down. It didn't go all the way into the red, so I am not sure whats up with it. It might be fine. Have not started it since i changed the hose out. The front diff has been removed in prep for the SAS. I have the straight axle from an 85 that was going to go in there but ran out of money. It has just been sitting and I might be moving so I want to get it to a happy home before I do. here is what you get

The truck
Roter - roter for the straight axle (disassembled)
3rd member for front
chevy springs
NEW in box detriot easy locker
4 NEW in box Pro Comp rs9000 shocks 24inch stroke i think.

Here are some pics http://unga.org/pics/new toyota

I am asking 1600 for everything. Not willing to part out but willing to accept resonable offers.

Thanks guys! Email me or call me for questions.

Ok so good news is that the headgasket is NOT blown and it is running pritty good! Got her timed and running smooth. Still has a slight knock but I will be working on that this weekend.

Ok, Update... there is something wrong with the motor and I am not going to put anymore money into it.  This was a project truck and now i just don't have the cash. If someone wants it make me an offer. I am going to lower my price from 1600 to 1000 bucks for everything. If you want just the truck then give me 700. CLEAN/CURRENT TITLE and just smoged last year.

I really just need the truck and the stuff gone and i really really need the cash. I might be moving to idaho and I have to rebuild the rearend in my dodge. I would like to get rid of everything together since it is a project truck and thats all part of the project. Someone has got to want this thing. I would keep it but i don't have the money to put into it right now. I am strugling to pay rent and find cash to get my main truck back in operation. make me some offers and if its not to crazy we can work something out. If it comes down to it and I need to start parting it out then I would take 200 for the locker 90 for the shocks and 50 for the chevy springs.
