Well overall some pretty good fights tonight. Looking forward to UFC 59 where we'll get to see the Maniac Tim Silvia fight Andrei Arlovski (thats gonna be a helluva fight) and Tito Ortiz take on Forrest Griffin.

Yup, those were good. GSP took a beating but hung in there. Franklin took a crashing blow that would have knocked most people out. These dudes are tough.

As for UFC 59, I want Griffin to mop the floor with Ortiz.

I ordered and watched it last night. Pretty easy fight card....  St Pierre / BJ Penn fight was kinda interesting.. Pierre definently won and of course BJ whined.. typical.  After the first round Pierre looked like he was done but he definently dominated the last two rounds.  Franklin tore  Loiseau's face up.. but the dude had incredable heart for sticking through 5 rounds of punishment.

I'm looking forward to May 4th for the Gracie / Hughes match up... I have a feeling Hughes is going to tear right through Gracie. St. Pierre is good but isn't at Hughes level at all....

I heard that Tito was getting back in the ring  :shake:    who now?!

Arlovski is quicker than Silva and has a better stand up....Silva doesn't have much of a ground game either.. which Arlovski does..

Anyone watch Frank Mir get smashed by some flabby no-name?       that p*ssed me off

The whole time I was watching that fight I was thinking to myself "Who is this guy?!  Its not Frank Mir..."

Brooklyn Badass is coming back into the ring isn't he?   hahaha..that should be funny.. The last fight I saw they stopped the fight and it p*ssed him off so he punched the ref as he stood up and got punished for...... 6 months?

I like him because he's a emotional fighter and just likes to exchange punchs.

Imagine how much money the Hughes / Gracie fight is going to rack up

Are you talking about Phil Barrrone(sp)? If so, he is tough but he has a bad attitude. I hope he gets his arse whipped. I also want the crazy Arlovski to beat Silva. I like the Militich camp but Silva seems to arrogant.

ps..Where is Matt Linland????
pss...Ortiz must go down.

Over all it was a good night of fighting.  The GSP fight was good.   IMHO I was a little disappointed with the Rich Franklin Vs. David Loiseau fight.  Loiseau just spent most of the time running away, he's a better fighter than that.  No flying knee, no spinning kicks    His eyes looked horrible by the end of the match though.

Looking forward to seeing Arlovski and Silvia
Me too, can't wait for this one.
