Topic: 2001 4.3 conversion

      I need help!  I'm trying to put a 4.3 vortec in a 84 toy p/u
 I have the complete wiring harness out of donor vehicle (2001 chevy blazer) The motor is in the truck, that was the easy part.
  I'm going to try to use the harness instead of buying a painless or
howell harness truck has passlock security system in ignition. I have mounted the blazer steering column in my toy ( out of same donor vehicle ) however when everything is plugged in and i turn the key the fuel pump does not come on ( running factory pump in toyota tank) probably has something to do with passlock system?
 or ? if any one can help would sure appreciate

I have a 93 toy that has a 4.3vortec conversion. Will you please send me any info you have on the harness. My motor is a 97 and it is the tbi.

I'm not sure about the newer wiring on the blazer but did you check neutral switch (if it was auto) and maybe check out the relay on the fuel pump.  I don't know about the pass lock stuff though.  I have gotten some good long winded advice from Jim at downy off road however.
