sweet rides all,how do u know how far up to tilt them?is it just a preference or what?i really want a set for my junk bt wasnt sure how they would look

ya mine are still in the shed  waiting installment. After i get all the broke stuff fixed i'll get around to mounting them.

I was thinkinh of puting  a metal mess grate on them    and or a flat spot on the buttum  for the farm jack i got...  hay ?? will they hold the weight?

they held up when I flopped on asphalt. I think I tucked mine in more than most people do.

I tilted mine up to where I had around a 3/4" gap between the top of the slider and the door when opened.

I believe we set my sliders at a 22 degree angle. Here is a picture of the clearance of the door:
