Newbie From Fresno
« on: Dec 03, 2005, 11:53:51 AM »
I am from fresno and had a 84 4wd lifted, gears, tires, seats, bumper, winch and was out wheeling and shut if off, threw it an gear on a flat surface or what i thought was flat, and got out and was looking at something and it popepd out of gear and took off down a hill and rolled smashing the cab corner, bending the frame in 2 places and bending the front diff housing.  I just purchased an 86 2wd with only 65k on it for $1000. body is in great condition and runs good. Looking forward to the conversion.

Welcome.  Sorry to hear about your truck.  Makes me want to go adjust my parking brake!

Man, that must have been a sick feeling watching your truck roll down that hill.

welcome to the site..... doing a 4x4 sas conversion to a 4x2 is quite common and not really that hard....
