WTB: Honda 1994 V-tec head
« on: Aug 26, 2002, 05:44:37 PM »
Wanted-Trade or buy- I need to locate one. Not sure what years will work but it is for a 1994. I know it needs to be a V-tec though.

Thats were I draw the line. I do not believe in tricking out a car. It has Wal-mart 14" hub caps. Not sure if it needs a head but I'd like to have one close by. I can't find one-hope I won't need one . I don't think I'll find a V-TEC head on this forum ether.

It has no curb feelers, wheels are not worth more then the car, a Wal-Mart shopping cart baby seat belt does not hold the battery down, it does not have any non-factor clearance or running lights, It does not have the local radio station bumper sticker on it, there is not a bronco emblem on the hood and THERE IS NO RAIDERS CRAP ANY WERE NEAR THIS CAR.

Thats how I define a beaner car. This car is not like that at all, its a 1994 Honda V-TEC cvic ex , it is not a 1983 camaro with a cross fire injected V6 :reg:

:thud:So your saying that a raked Dodge 69 Charger R/T with a 440 Magnum and a 4 speed "pistol gripped" with fat BFG's in mint condition is a "beaner car" Or BigMike's 87 MR2? Or how about a Ferrari 550 Maranello is that a "beaner car"???

Ok if you see a car with the following I would consider it a beaner car, rice rocket or just gay :stopit::
-wheels bigger than 17"
-wheels smaller then 15"(unless stock)
-Dragon paint grafic stuff on the side
-multi collored neon paint jobs :stopit:
-sounds like a electric leaf blower :smack:
-has a relly big wing(dragers are ok)
-has any resemblence to any car in the Fst&Frs besides the mopar
-has big plastic bumper air dam things
-you cant fit your bare foot under the rockers
-has some form of rap coming from it
-has more superchargers then cylenders
-the wheels cost more then a set of 39" boggers
-has gold trim
-has a chain steering wheel
-has velvet intierior
-has clear tail/marker lights
-says phat on it
-says "homie" or "essay" on it
-is owned by a guy named Mike with an unspellable last name :hahaha:
-has carbon fiber
-the sterio cost more then a cherry '73 FJ-40 and when even with a an Allen and the Chipmonks CD in it all you can hear is booooom................boooooooooooooooom....boom... boom...booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom.
-has fuzzy dice hanging from the rear view mirrior
-has collored light comming from under neith
-hydralics
If you want to add any be my guest.
Buy the way you have a cool car Doc its is about the opposite of a beaner car. And mike im just jiven ya crap for having a car its probally a cool car I dont know. If I wanted to have a fast car it would have to be a hot rod or a muscle car or mabe an old Datsun B2-10 with a BuickV6 :greengrin:but some people care about gas mileage :dunno:well mabe when I start driving Ill figure it out. :b_s:

Are we talking about rice crispy car(87 MR2), G-mobiles(Escalad on 22" rims) or toco rockets(83 camaro)? You discribed all 3 so I was just curious.

I was talking about Rice rockets, beaner cars, and just all around gay cars. Yes Ive seen cool cars with carbonfiber that are not at all beaner cars or rice rockets just cool hotrods with something I would have never put on it.

rEdnECkwHeE1eR,
you are young and stupid, you can't even tell the difference between a beaner and an asian there are big differences.   the beaners use the smallest rim and tires and have lots of crome.   the asians use the biggest rim and tire,  and clear tail lights.

i would take a lowered 900hp rice burning supra over a big heavy tall chevy nova or what ever,  any day of the week.

one thing you don't seem to understand is when you lower a car and put bigger rims on a car the car will handle alot better ( it will grip the road/track better)  you have no idea what its like to drift around a corner at 90+ mph, on a race track in a mild built 900hp rice rocket white smoking the tires in fourth gear????? do you???   no.   and the day i see a 4500lbs american made muscle car do it i will put my foot in my mouth. all 12" of it    i just got done building a 11 second honda crx and because it  has 15" rims, and the business name stickers on it, it's gay??????

there is one thing that will make a stock car a ricer and that is a coffee can muffler, and neon lights. i wont disagree hear.

also when you grow up you should (hopfully) learn that welding the spider gears is not smart , in the front and in the rear, or using a d44 front, sorry but pull your head out ya ass. read and learn a few thing about how the world works.

Cliff

I yused to be yung and stupid now I'm just old :thud:

But I do know what a beaner is and you can turn all shades of black and bloody calling the wrong person a beaner. I grew up on the east side of San Jose so I know a little about "lowrider" cars. Aisians also look a little different than "beaners"   :hahaha: :hahaha:

And another thing, it is a B210, a B2-10 is probably a version of a big bomber or something. They made those when your momma was in school.

Not to be rippin ya too hard redneck but at your age you know not about life in the world after school. Try the PBB and they will rip you apart. We here at MCBB are much nicer.

And the moral of the story: we all were as innocent and naive as you were once and in 20 years you can rip the yunguns too.

Redneck, I will say this - he is right. I have spent many an hour working on friends rice burners, They develop power in a very sexy way, Electronically controlled with forced induction. I would love to be able to plug a laptop into my car and tune it. Those of us with Toy 4x4's ARE DRIVING RICERS.
Now as for what Cliff said, I have had many oppurtunities to drive ricers and Muscle cars, Although never down a track or in a 10 second car. My fav ricer exp. is doing 175 in a Gen 2 Eclipse on Highway 41 near I-5. I've driven Shelby Cobra's putting out 500+ hp around tracks at high speed, Mustangs, El Camino's, Nova's, Dart's, Demons, A Cuda or 2, Challenger's Duh, And my dream car A Charger, Probe GT, 77 Porsche 911 Targa S, 01 Boxster s, Camaro's, 4-4-2, Mazda RX7, Supra, MR2, Eclipse I,II,III, A stock car, a 54 chevy Step side with a ZZ4.......Vette's.......The list of performance vehicles goes on and on. I have lots of friends with lots of different cars.  Oh and I've ridden Many a speed bike from ninja's To speed triples to Hayabusa's to F4's.....much fun. My very favorite's were the Triumph Daytona 955i And Ducati 1005.

As you get older you will learn to keep an open mind about things. Because if you don't you might end up getting your ass kicked. Due to the fact that you opened your mouth. A very wise friend said something to me once - he said "matt when you're around people with more expierence and knowledge than you, you need to listen more and talk less. The people you're around will respect you more because it shows that you respect thier knowledge. And You will not come off as a punk kid who thinks he knows everything." and that's how I got to where I am today. I pass that little lesson on to you hoping you'll learn from it.

I love working on engines, that's what I know the most about with regaurds to vehicles, I won't turn down an oppurtunity to learn more about any motor. I love them all.

My mother once chewed me out for knocking the lowriders... She grew up when muscle cars and lowriders were real. She said that lowriders were part of the hispanic culture in the US. And that for some of the people involved in that area it's the only good thing they had. And that that is how some people make a living. But she also reminded me - I DONT HAVE TO DRIVE IT. well Niether do you.

Oh yeah Grow up You should consider what you're saying before writing. Engage your brain........What are you anyway, A freshman???

   Doc.

Hey Dave, looks like BigWizard.com has a vtec head and e_cliff has one as well (call his shop). If anyone else has one for sale, please contact CruzrDave privately.

This topic has presented some very heavy debates and arguments with a strong majority. With that in mind, as a moderator I am going to keep the offensive pictures from e_cliff to let others know that members are actual people and can become offensive if provoked. As this Forum relates to non-Marlin Crawler topics it is easily tainted and polluted as this thread shows. Please remember that the intention of it is more for Customer Support and PR rather than free speech and B.S. although both are promoted and supported, and of course they make up the majority of this Forum, so more power to ya. But I will leave the pics and this thread here for now to show a since of self expression and human morality. However, in the future if any one does post any more offensive attachments as these, they will be removed with out exception, and I reserve the right to remove the attachments on this thread as well.

This thread is now locked. Thanks for chatting :)

Regards,
BigMike
