hi i was wondering about my buddies rig , he just got it and and when he takes the neg. off the battery the whole thing shuts off , hes tired the alternator, wireing cant find it , so can u think of sometyhing else, thanks

Check and make sure there are proper grounds. Ground the frame to the engine block and also ground the body to the frame or engine. I just fixed a truck with the same problem

I just fixed a truck with the same problem Logged 83 shortbed frame / 88 extra cab / toy rears up front / grand cherokee in rear i believe / stock gears and motor / first time out rolled it with a broken neck
