My 1990 Toyota pickup has a powered radio antenna that rises out or the right front fender when the radio is turned on and is pulled down when turned off. I've broken the antenna twice on the trail from branches and I'm frustrated with it. I've thought, "I'll fix it and be careful this time and retract it when branches reach too close." :HardLaugh: But I get distracted until it's too late, and it's broken again.
I've tried to keep the factory accessories operational, but I've decided this one doesn't work for me.
I've thought of securing it to the windshield pillar somehow, but don't know how to do that. I'm open to any ideas. What do you think? :sos:
