33s FOR SALE!!! CHEAP!!!
« on: Oct 16, 2005, 05:48:13 PM »
ok ill try this again, 33 inch avon mud terrains on toy alloy sr5 wheels
size is 33x9.5x15---the reason i bought narrow tires was to put them on an ifs rig with no lift, they fit well with NO rub.
i drove em for 6 months or so, they are siped, and do quite well in the rocks for what they are.
i need to move these quikly paid 700, asking 400 or offer, will always consider trades

quick note on those wheels - i have a set of the same wheels from my 90 4runner and when they are installed on a stock straight axle, the ball joints hit the rim, not enough offset in the rim for straight axle trucks.  i thought i had mine sold, then when the guy came over, it wouldn't work.  sorry to hijack, just don't want a misunderstanding between dudes.

im interested in them but would they fit my 93 runner with no lift without rubbing? I dont know if the wheel wells are smaller than of that in your 4 runner.

i had them on my 87 with no lift or rubbing..and did the rubicon..so i am confident that you will be safe. worst case cenario, you turn your torions half an inch, the rear will be no problem, i work at les schwab so i have experiance in making tires fit oon things. feel free to call me-541 324 4730-leave mess if not answered

he probably means the tie rod, I have ran into this before, some factory wheels from an IFS truck will rub the tie rod joint on a SA truck,  there are several versions of wheels that apear to be exactly the same but are not. If they are factory installed wheels and not port then they will probably not rub. If the were upgraded at the port then they might rub, I used to know how to tell them apart but I forgot
This may not be true in all cases, but at least it has been my experience.
