Well I was out and about today, picking up pieces for my flat bed. Ran over to Toyota Masters in Corona (Awesome guys!!) for my main hoop and over All Pro in Hemet for the rest of the flat bed kit (hot chick behind the sales counter.). Anyway on the way home, in rush hour traffic, my fuel bowl heater decided to call it quits. I don't know why Ford decided it was a good idea to put the fuel heater and the power systems control thingy on the same 30A fuse, but they did. So when the fuel bowl heater went out, there I was, dead in the water on the 215. Needless to say, I got a free tow off the 215 to where I could actually work on it. Pulled the damn plug out of the heater, not like I need it here on the surface of the sun, oops I mean SoCal and went on my merry way.
It also turns out the heater wire is hot all of the time, so I taped it up and zip tied it and off I went.
