night wheelin in vt
« on: Jul 19, 2005, 02:45:35 PM »
Did some wheeling around underhill last night. We hit about 3 trails.

Took some shots night pictures suck without alot of lighting.
Most of it was mucky wet stuff but made it without issues.

My truck stopped on the end of a rocky stream bed

We couldn't really procede any further since this is all that was left of the log bridge that used to be there.
It basically drops off into a mucky swamp.

A rocky hill climb it's hard to see but this kinda steep and goes up for about 25ft of rock .
I attempted it but I couldn't get up the hill it was really hard to maintain any traction. Neither could my buddies locked CJ7 on 37's. Maybe next time with a winch I'll make it up the ledge.

The last trail was a bit more fun I couldn't figure out why it seemed like we had less traction than before and it took about 2-3 times to climb muddy hills.
We almost got stuck turning around on the trail. We lost my mud flap in the process.
I later found out my buddy forgot to lock the passengers side hub. Doh stuff happens.

Anyways I got home earlier than expected it was about 130 am.
