« on: Jul 03, 2005, 10:39:41 AM »
Ok i am going to eliminate the stock key switch, and move another key/ignition switche(s) to an aluminum panel in the center, what i need to know is what all the wires do at the ignition switch. i am talking about the ones that go to the white plastic switch, that gets turned by the ignition switch on the bottem of the column. thanks

The Ignition switch usually has four positions.

Off, Accessories, Ignition, Start.

Off the top of my head, all I can remember is that the Start circuit is a Black wire with a White stripe. I want to say that the Ignition circuit is a Black wire with a Red stripe, and I am not sure about Acc.
