Have a 84-88 4runner roll bar MODIFIED to fir in the bed of a pick up, shortened to clear a shell, comes with ALL attaching hardware and self taped heavy duty mounting brackets, clean set up for the bed of any '79-94 p/u truck $40.00 (spent 50.00 having it made) looks factory when installed,.......Stew

Hey there Bud, the roll bar, is an exact piece from an 84-89 4runner, it's a single tube with about 4-7 inches cut out of it to fit under the shell I had, it fits in the bed of a pickup , and the mounting brackets are heavy duty, the whole roll bar is probably 25lbs, and the two brackets (which are rectangular square 2x6" and about 16" inches or so long,mount to fender-well in bed), and even squared with 1/2inch thick rear plates, Definetly over built, but the brackets that mount on each fender-well in the bed, are probably 15lbs each, It's Stout, but to try to ship a roll bar?

Yes I still have that 4runner rollbar, but I hope your in So Cal, cause shipping this thing is probably not feasable,...And yes it's for a pick-up truck bed, all the mounting hardware is included, Stew

I'd be interested in possible coming to see it this weekend. I'm just north of you in Lancaster. Hey one other question...you said that it would fit under a shell. Are you talking about a 4Runner shell or a standard camper shell. Cause I've got a Leer on my 92 4x4 Pickup.

Hey there Bud, yes this weekend is good for me too, bring your truck with the shell, the rollbar is/was designed for a pickup bed with a shell, and it would mount as if it were a 4runner, but with TWICE the mounting surface as an original setup. I paid 50.00 for the rollbar and gave someone a driveshaft to modify this 4runner rollbar, so I've easily got over a hundred into this thing, well worth the trip, give me a call @ 818-261-8598 and we'll setup a time, I'm off of the 118 @ first street, Stew

I appologize about this weekend. I had something come up that I couldn't get out of. But I'm sill interested. I think I'll be heading down to LA this weekend to get some other work done on my truck. Hey there Darth, we could try this coming weekend too, I got the bolts together for it this last weekend (no big job) and it's all there, You said you had a '92 p/u??? the rollbar will work under the shell, and I also have other stuff, Downey torsion bars 40.00 obo, stub axles (if you run a locker, you'll need this), and even buckets of metric bolts, with the Holiday coming up,, a specific day/time would be nice, 818-261-8598 Stew
