The place where I got it said that it would do anything short of welding the nose up on a Catapillar bulldozer! If I had to do it he said just to make 4 deep hot passes on each side

Got the same welder awesome machine but they are not TIG capable machine. Mine came with an optional spool gun so when welding aluminum you dont have to change wire and liner, maybe thats what you meant.
