EFI Help
« on: May 19, 2003, 08:37:46 AM »
I just swapped in a 22re into my 86' 4runner and i can't get it to start.   I think that the injectors aren't getting any voltage.  I thought maybe it was a bad ecu but now i got another one and it's still the same.   I checked the voltage at the injector connector and there is nothing?
Any help would be appreciated.

Did you remove the plenum at all, there is a ground there also for the injectors, the ground at the rear of the block wont prevent it from starting, its just for the head for corrosion, - side ground to the battery at front of motor on pass side, alt ground on driver side, crack the cold start injector, if you have gas spray it has pressure to the intake injectors.....does it even crank or just nothing when you turn the key?
