My truck, an ongoing project!
« on: Aug 28, 2002, 01:44:39 PM »
n Since Cruzilla want's to talk about projects I thought I would show you mine. This may be why my 7M Supra motor has a knock. The oild pickup may not be suitable for extream angles. The bearing may have started here, and just made it till I got home.

That's Big Sluice on the Rubicon. Phil told me for a good picture to put my tire in the hole.  :thud: OK so I should have not listened. Good thing I had my doors on, or that rock would not have kept me from going onto my lid.

No money now, so I will play whith these fun guys untill I save up some for the rebuild.
:.order: :thud: :dunno:  :hahaha: :change: :talking: :moon: :ack: :smack: :reg: :~~:  :circle: :b_s:   :puke: :shake: :chew: :brush: :yum:

Yea I took the winch to pull the rear down, then pulled forward.

You missed a good time at Fordyce!

Oh no, don't go to fordyce!!!  you'll be swept away, the camping sux and the trail goes no where!!

Paul, I am glad I was able to do both those runs with you guys, had a great time.  Glad I finally got to see that shot of you on Big Sluice, thanks for sending me some photo copies NOT!!!

for everyone else, Paul had to change a birfield on Fordyce before he even got to truck hill (the first climb way before winch hill 1).  Then he got to change another right after winch hill 3...

then they did nothing but whine the entire time that they had no more spare birfs...  :dunno:

take care... no pix, no shirt.

Cruzilla...

just got back from Dusy and Swamp lake two weeks ago, had a great time.

Dusy is one of my favorite trails, not due to the technical aspect of the wheeling (which is good) but the geographic area and high country wheeling... it's absolutely gorgeous up there.

We also ran Swamp lake for the first time and although I had heard stories the trail was pretty tame, we enjoyed it immensely and thought the wheeling was great.  Oh, and Swamp lake has got to be the most inappropriately named lake around, there was nothing swampy about it!

have a great time...

2 Birf's a year, and i'm done!

Hey Tony!

I hear your the Rubithon Chairperson next year. Thanks for stepping up to the plate! I bet it will be a great event next year, so much I'm thinking of comming back.

I will be taking orders for Parts, and looking for places to crash. I guess I better get busy on fixing my truck.  Man And I was thinking of taking next year off, Who was I kidding?
I havn't talked to Chris since I got back. I may just take a run to my favorite Junkyard this weekend. I will look for your part if I do. No I;m not telling where it is, it's a secret I want to keep! :sealed:

Just got back from Dusy, I mean Dusty :thud:, It was the long monotonous trail I remember. We had a great time though. I managed to splode a rear hub. Just the internals though :reg:
