1985 4runner Auto to Manual transmission swap
« on: Feb 13, 2023, 11:09:58 AM »
I am in the middle of an auto to manual trans swap on my 1985 4runner. I have most if not all of the parts. I ended up buying a w56b trans and a top shift transfer case separately. I bought the gasket that goes in between the 2. Do I assemble the trans and transfer case with the gasket dry or is there a sealer I use along with the gasket? Also should I replace anything while the trans and transfer case are apart like the output seal? Any help would be appreciated!🙏🏼🤙🏽

Rear main seal on engine, front seal on transmission input..
