ES 9000 shocks

I bought a set of ES 9000 shocks the guy told me they would fit my 85 4runner I have a 6 Inch spring lift..The shocks fully extended give me an inch of travel...THESE do not fit :bull crap:


SO what set of shocks will fit.? Is there a better pair of Pro Comps?

did you move or change the shock mount..best wau is to flex out your rig at max if possible and measure it on both dides,,max out and compressed..then have them look up the shock you need..they come in many lengths and every truck is different,,i dont think there is a direct awnser for ya..you just need to measure to for sure get it right.

My twocents, Pro Comp shocks suck.  I have not been happy with them at all.  I havethem on my truck, and I have no flex with them on, and they came with the pro comp lift I have.  They arent designed for crawling

as it sit now with the shock fully extended I have an inch left over.! :rivers:

the shocks won't cause your rig not to flex,,shitty ride,,but it should still flex,,my guess is itd your shitty pro comp springs that won't let your rig flex.

The shocks are too short mang.  Yes the springs suck but fromt he sounds of it its the shocks that are stopping it from drooping  Justin (blue bobbed x-cab at rimrock) has 4" lift front shocks on his ride and the front only droops about 3" before they are topped.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??
