W56 transfer case vs l52 transfer case?

Hey I got a w56 that needs a transfer case. I have an old l52 with the transfer case still on and and was wondering if I could use that?

Yes. You can use the rf1a case from behind a L series behind a W series. Is the w series top shift or forward shift?
