Trans rebuild
« on: May 09, 2017, 09:37:45 PM »
Bought this R150 for $150 bucks.
Came with no shifter, and no fill plug.
I decided after a few beers, that I wanted to make sure there was no debris inside.
Pulled the back of the housing off, or shifter housing? reducer case? Idk what it's called.. educate me on that too if you could.
Before I start trying to pull stuff apart any further, will I need any special tools? (Press, bearing pullers, etc.)
Or is there anything I could fill the tranny with - that won't hurt the seals and bearings - to clean it out as much as possible with out having to take it apart?
