Topic: Differences in 99 2.7 and 04 2.7

I've posted in several forums and no real black and white answers. I have a 1999 2.7. Just bought a 2004 2.7 and right away I noticed the coils/plugs being different. Any other major differences in the two? If so, is it relatively easy to make work in harmony?

How about using the 99 electricals on the 04........

I believe the intake portion of the heads are different.
Mine is a 4 port where an '01 is 8 which includes a different intake manifold. 
I hear the 8 port performs better and gets better mpg's but I have no experience in that area.

Like the 2nd post. Drop him in your truck and use your engine harness and 2 coil set up.
