All,
I have been having starting issues recently. My starter died so I replaced that. Fuel pressure was low so I replaced the fuel filter, and fuel pump. It died a few times on my way home from work one day so I took it into the shop. They diagnosed some crappy wires at the fuel pump so they replaced the fuel pump bracket. Started up excellent for them and I picked it up from the shop yesterday. It started fine for me all yesterday around town and started up fine this morning. Died on me while driving on the way into work. I can get it cranked up for a second with started fluid but as soon as you stop spraying starter fluid it dies. I'm going to test the fuel pressure again at the rail and then go from there. Maybe test the coils/spark plugs but since the truck cranks with the starter fluid I know I'm getting a spark. I am trying to narrow down the problem with the fuel system. Any ideas beyond what I've been thinking about? Tired of paying for labor. This forum has been a huge help in the past.
Cheers.

Edit: I just tested the ignitor coil and both primary and secondary resistances fall within specs. Gonna poke around the fuel system today.
