Shifter Parts Interior Question
« on: May 07, 2015, 05:42:32 AM »
Some of you might remember my build thread started years back, 84 Toy that was rolled in 85 and sat until I got my hands on it and replaced the cab with an 88. Project got put on hold while I finished up school, then because I started my career, then because I moved from the Northeast to Florida. Anyway, now the project is coming to Florida next month and have a question...

The rolled cab was completely stripped when I got it and the 88 cab was an automatic so I have no basis to go on as to how to make the floorboard look. Luckily I have two shifter boots though. Not looking for a perfect restoration but I see some pictures where there was a center console and others it looks like just a boot with the carpet over it. Cutting the hole in the floor was pretty easy since the template was stamped into the floor still but what do I need to attach to the floor to attach the boot or center console? Im guessing a lot of these items will be junkyard items but if anyone knows a source let me know!

Essentially what Im asking is what parts do I need to complete my interior shift assembly assuming I had nothing but sheet metal and a shifter boot.
